Is that who it looks like in the lower left panel? And is that why Shiori was saying she only needed to hold out until today?
I can’t belive what I’m seeing! This battle will take echiness to a whole new level! By the way, isn’t that flame girl naked? But why did they bother traping Rakan in that dimension again? I mean, what’s the point if they know he can easyly break out?
And we finaly see Yue again! And I don’t think it’s the last pic. The top left one is.
But wait a sec… if Fate and his harem are here, does that mean that Asuna and Anya are unguarded? CHANCE!

so whats going on Rakan fights with girls so where’s Fate ?
I don’t think Rakan is gonna die in this fight. It looks like theres too much comedy in here to be connected to Negima’s first death scene.

If Rakan dies, it isn’t this chapter.
As improbable as it may be, I think that really is one of the Asunas in the lower left panel. What we see of the face doesn’t look much like her, but it’s her hair ties, her hair style, looks like the bells, and even her trademark ahoge, pointed in the correct direction.
But why? Are they giving her back? Did they bring her with them for the reason fg7 noted? Her hair is up, so it doesn’t seem like it could be Shiori!Asuna… but I’m at a loss for why they would bring back real Asuna.
that girl in the lower left is Homura which is one of Fate’s minions… and in another pic, she became a flame girl…
Seeing as that Fate isn’t in these panels, I would say that he’s on his way to the ball while his harem is buying time for him by diverting Rakan’s attention.
Hmmmm, whilst I agree that the hair style looks right for Asuna (and it certainly looks like she’s wearing her bells), the fact that they’ve not screentoned it seems odd to me. That hair’s Shiori-coloured.
It’s hard to tell without cleaning scans, though.
I’m guessing Rakan will toy around with Fate’s minions, then real Asuna will step up and strip him of his powers, and then Rakan will become another gargoyle.

Aw, jeez. I had left IE sitting on the reply page to the Ch. 258 review since this morning and just now composed and posted the reply. Didn’t expect there to be spoiler pics a day early, though.
So, Jack is still alive at the end of this chapter (the page on the top-left of the pic says “To Be Continued”), Fate opting to just sic his battle harem on him rather than fighting him himself. And once again, Jack manages to de-pantsu the illusion girls and the flame-hair Anya lookalike. Perhaps Fate didn’t want to bother with Jack and just wanted to get to the ball ASAP?
It’s not Asuna you’re seeing in those photos, it’s the fire-girl as seen in:

She’s also the girl you see hanging upside down, held by Rakan, along with the Dimension-girl.
